About West Coast United

Reeths-Puffer Youth Soccer Club (RPYSC) was established to give all youth, ages 3 to 18, the opportunity to participate in organized soccer, regardless of the player's ability or skill level.  West Coast United offers select and premier-level soccer for players seeking to sharpen their skills at a more competitive level.  As the name implies, players are selected annually by try-out.  These teams also travel farther than recreation-level teams.

RPYSC is a Michigan State Youth Soccer Association affiliated league. This gives us the ability to influence soccer decisions within the State of Michigan and offers benefits including education and insurance programs for coaches and players.

RPYSC registers in-house teams, recreation teams through the Great Lakes Co-ed Youth Soccer League, and select (travel) teams with the Grand Valley Soccer Association. We encourage players to consider the growth opportunities through these three levels while being able to enjoy staying within the same club and geographical practice location.

We are run by an elected, voluntary board; supported by committees, parents and players all working together to make our programs a positive and successful experience.

We manage the costs of our programs carefully for the benefit of parents, coaches, and players - compare our registration fees to other area soccer clubs! We do not pay coaches for their time - they are all volunteers - we do actively support the education and growth of coaches and players. Registration fees pay for licensed referees, affiliate league registrations, insurance, and coaching education; including all levels of required select coaching licenses and sponsorship of educational camps. They also contribute to the maintenance of our field space in partnership with Reeths-Puffer Schools for practice, games, and tournaments.

We partner closely and leverage the experience of the Reeths-Puffer Schools coaching staff in the development of soccer education programs. Through a unique and mutually beneficial partnership, we are able to offer players a large, well-maintained field space next to Reeths-Puffer Middle School.

RPYSC is not formally associated with Reeths-Puffer Schools. We welcome players from any school district in our area. You will see United, Breakers, and many other creative team names on our fields. Above all else, RPYSC players have fun and create lifelong friendships through the worldwide sport of soccer.

Reeths-Puffer Youth Soccer Club

RPYSC, a 501c3 organization, offers all youth the opportunity to play in organized soccer, regardless of ability or skill level from ages 3 to 18.

RPYSC is recognized by MSYSA as a league, registering in-house teams, recreation teams through the Great Lakes Co-ed Youth Soccer League, and select (travel) teams with the Grand Valley Soccer Association.
