How to Become a Referee

Are you interested in becoming a referee? Being a referee can be a very rewarding experience. The first step is to get certified.

Entry Level (Grade 9) Official (minimum age 13 years old)

Entry-level classes are typically offered during the months of February and March, and also July and August.

 

Recertification

Every year an official will have to recertify. You MUST recertify to continue to referee games for the next calendar year. Recertification classes are generally done from November to January of the following year.
