Background Checks

RPYSC is a member of the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA). MSYSA requires:

"Any coach, assistant coach, team trainer, team manager, League President, League Delegate, League official, League representative, MSYSA administrator, MSYSA Board of Directors member, contract labor employee, or any other individual over the age of 18 seeking affiliation with MSYSA or MSYSA affiliated leagues who has direct or indirect contact or influence on a youth player shall certify for Risk Management and submit a background check in order to participate MSYSA."

Reeths-Puffer Youth Soccer is committed to this MSYSA rule and requires all adults involved in our league to submit a annual background check in order to participate. You will certify using an online process through GotSoccer. This certification and background check is required and cannot be waived for any reason including but not limited to any other back ground check you may have already completed as part of employment or other activities. RPYSC will cover the costs involved and provide information on how to complete the process.

 

Contact RPYSC in advance - our registrar or treasurer - for details and a coupon code that you can enter directly into the background check application form. The coupon code will eliminate the need for you to pay any fees.
