Grand Valley Soccer Officials Association
Reeths-Puffer Youth Soccer Club (RPYSC) is a member of the Grand Valley Soccer Association (GVSA) and the Great Lakes Coed Soccer League (GLCSL) as well as the Grand Valley Soccer Officials Association (GVSOA).
It is highly recommended that all officials join GVSOA once they have become certified.

Entry Level (Grade 9) Official: (minimum age 11 years old)
Are you interested in becoming a referee? Being a referee can be a very rewarding experience. The first step into becoming a referee is to get certified. Entry level classes are typically offered during the months of February and March, and also July and August. To find a class near you follow the link below:
Bridge (Grade 8) Official: (minimum age 14 years old)
Once you have completed at least one season as a grade 9 referee, you are eligible to upgrade to a grade 8. Grade 8 classes are typically offered in February and March, and also July and August. To find a class near you follow the link below:
Every year an official will have to take another class. If you are not upgrading from a 9 to an 8 you MUST recertify to continue to referee games for the next calendar year. Recertification class are generally done from November to January of the following year. To find a class near you please follow the link below:
